Alexis Noel is a dynamic entertainment lawyer serving as Associate Corporate Counsel at Amazon Prime Video and MGM Studios, where she negotiates and structures high-value film and TV licensing and distribution deals that help shape Prime Video’s global streaming catalog. In under two years at Prime Video, Alexis has negotiated more than 40 transactions with leading studios including Disney, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Sony, and Warner Bros., representing an aggregate deal value exceeding $800 million. Her work spans more than 25 international territories and has helped bring an estimated 700+ film and TV titles to Prime Video audiences. Her impact extends beyond traditional dealmaking; Alexis also advises on emerging initiatives at the intersection of entertainment and technology, including artificial intelligence, accessibility, and the creator economy, positioning her at the forefront of the rapidly evolving streaming landscape.

Alexis has built her career by progressively developing expertise across the lifecycle of the film and TV business. She began her entertainment legal career at Nickelodeon, supporting performer agreements for both live-action and animated TV series. She later practiced corporate law at A&O Shearman LLP, where her work included representing Paramount Global in a $1 billion debt securities transaction, before transitioning into film finance at Ramo Law, where she represented financiers and production companies in debt and equity financing for independent films. Alexis earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona and her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University-Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Texas.

Beyond her legal practice, Alexis is committed to expanding access, education, and opportunity within the entertainment industry. During her tenure as a board member of the Houston Bar Association’s Entertainment & Sports Law Section, she organized more than a dozen CLEs, including launching an annual sports law CLE with the Houston Rockets that has since expanded to include legal professionals from Houston’s other major professional sports organizations. Today, she serves on the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA) TV & Film Committee, where she continues to develop educational programming for entertainment attorneys. Through mentorship, CLEs, and her legal practice, Alexis continues to build bridges between established industry leaders and the next generation while helping shape the future of how entertainment is created, distributed, and experienced.

In addition to her professional career, Ashley is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, serves as the Communications Chair of the TV/Film Division of the Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association, and Director of Legal of the NY Metro Chapter of the Black MBA Association.
